The Occupational Health Unit is located at 63 Oakfield Avenue. Access to the unit is via several stairs and there are no ground floor toilet facilities. Please contact Occupational Health using the details on your appointment invite to discuss if you have any particular access requirements and they will arrange an alternative suitable venue.

It is not possible to self-refer to occupational health. Discussion should take place with the relevant line manager to discuss the circumstances and any need for a referral.

The Occupational Health Unit will endeavour to see referred employees within a week of receiving the referral. Reports are then typically sent to the referring manager within 2-3 days.

If you are unable to attend OH please inform your manager as early as possible in order that the appointment may be offered to another person. 

If you feel unable to undergo the assessment you should inform your manager. 

Without the benefit of guidance from the OH your managers may make decisions regarding your ongoing employment based on the information available to them. The OH Adviser will discuss any concerns you may have about the appointment on the day but will not proceed further without your consent.
