Qlik Migration Project
Planning, Insight & Analytics (PIA) are in the process of migrating the majority of the QlikView and Qlik Sense dashboards, which provide reporting across a range of areas including admissions and student registrations, to new Power BI dashboards. The migration project commenced at the end of 2023 and will complete by 15 November 2024, when Qlik licensing expires. This webpage is to provide key information regarding the migration activities.
Why migrate?
The primary reason for this migration is to enable our analysts to develop and deliver clearer and more insightful analysis to decision makers across the University, at a pace which enables us to make faster but well-informed strategic decisions.
What do I need to do?
You don’t need to do anything at the moment to gain access to the new Power BI dashboards. As part of the migration project, PIA will provide you with access to our newly developed resources, and we’ll let you know when they are available to use.
We are committed to delivering Power BI content which is equivalent to or better than the existing provision in QlikView and Qlik Sense. You will find that the new dashboards look and feel a bit different to the Qlik dashboards that you are used to, but please be assured that they built using the same data, from the same sources, that are used to populate the current Qlik dashboards.
