Pride Badge Launch

Aim to raise LGBT+ visibility around campus
The LGBT+ Network last month officially launched the University of Glasgow Pride Badges.
The badge is an initiative to raise LGBT+ visibility around campus and create an inclusive environment for LGBT+ students and staff members. Creating an inclusive environment is an important part of making sure that LGBT+ students and staff members feel welcome and valued at the University.
Carlo van den Heuvel, LGBT+ Network Co-Chair, said: "I’m so proud of these fantastic badges. From the beginning the idea was to create something exciting and that promotes an environment of openness and inclusions. I believe we achieve this!"
The badge is for sale in the University gift shop for £3.99: £1 from every sale goes back into the LGBT+ Network to support their events and activities. Get your Pride Badge now!
The LGBT+ Network is open to all University of Glasgow staff and postgraduate students who identify as LGBT+. Currently the network has more than 200 members and organises a variety of events and activities throughout the year.
