Glasgow Marrow presents a unique evening of inspirational talks to raise awareness of and dispel myths associated with stem cell transplantation.
Glasgow Marrow is part of the student run branch of Anthony Nolan, the national charity that runs the stem cell register in the UK.
We recruit donors to the register, writes student member Nabeel Salim, so that patients with blood cancer have the best possible chance of finding a lifesaving match for stem cell transplant.
Join us as we welcome four wonderful speakers from across the UK. We'll be hearing all about the medicine and science of a stem cell transplant, the journey of a stem cell donor and the experiences of a patient who received a stem cell transplant from a lifesaving stranger.
