The Good Cause process governs whether adverse circumstances affected your attendance or performance at assessments
The University has published new FAQs to help students understand the Good Cause process, the regulations governing whether adverse circumstances can affect your attendance or performance at assessments.
These are currently published on the Senate Office website and will also be uploaded to the Exams Information pages for students.
‘Good Cause’ is the term we use to refer to our regulations for making appropriate allowance for unforeseen or unavoidable circumstances which have affected your assessments.
The FAQs include guidance on the types of circumstances which are likely to accepted as Good Cause, and also the evidence that would be expected to support Good Cause claims.
