Following successful completion of testing, plans are moving forward to upgrade MyCampus. The live system will be taken down at 8am on Thursday 8 February and will be back up at 8am on Tuesday 13 February.
During this downtime, staff will have access to a read-only version of the environment in which no processing will be possible. The link to this environment will be sent out to key users and forwarded on accordingly.
To ensure that you get the best experience when you log into MyCampus for the first time after the upgrade, please ensure your browser language is set to UK English for compatibility with MyCampus date format. The instructions below detail how to change the language settings on various browsers:
- In Internet Explorer to do this: Tools\Options, then select: Languages If en-GB doesn’t exist then it should be added.
- In Firefox: Open menu\Options and select: Language If en-GB doesn’t exist then it should be added and any other languages deleted.
- In Chrome, select Customise and Control Google chrome and then select settings and show advanced settings, then select: Language, If it doesn’t exist then Add: English (United Kingdom).
Please also be advised that your local browser cache must be cleared before accessing the upgraded version of MyCampus.
Lastly please note that the last batch processing before the upgrade will run in the evening on Tuesday 6 February; this will then resume as normal in the evening of Tuesday 13 February.
