The second Rare Disease Day Glasgow event will be held on Friday 4 May at the Teaching & Learning Centre at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.

The event is linked to International Rare Disease Day, and is designed to help raise awareness amongst the general public and decision-makers about rare diseases and their impact on patients' lives.

Our theme this year is ‘clinical trials’, and we have an excellent programme of speakers for the day. The full programme can be accessed on our event registration site (see below).

Registration is free via this link:

The event runs from 10am-4pm, with lunch, tea and coffee provided. There will also be stalls during the lunch break hosted by the Glasgow Clinical Research Facility, and the West of Scotland Genetic Services.
