November 30 will see the awards ceremony for the University of Glasgow’s 2017 Knowledge Exchange & Public Engagement Awards taking place at the Knowledge Exchange & Engagement Conference. Awarded across a variety of categories, which recognise the rich variety of knowledge exchange that our academic community undertakes with their partners, the awards celebrate the very best of Glasgow’s influence and impact on the economy and society.

The Knowledge Exchange & Engagement Conference takes place on November 30th at the Imaging Centre of Excellence, with transport being provided from Gilmorehill.

The programme is packed with practical sessions targeted directly at researchers and there are a choice of workshops for every flavour of knowledge exchange and external engagement.

The keynote session in the morning will include the Deputy Director of Innovate UK, Kevin Baughan, and RCUK’s Head of Public Engagement, Jenni Chambers. Just after the Autumn budget statement and at the point of transition to UKRI, this will be an excellent opportunity to hear more about UKRI’s expectations around knowledge exchange and impact.
