September 30th this year marked the 50th anniversary of the University Library building on Hillhead Street.  To honour the occasion we recently launched a fabulous exhibition celebrating ’50 Years of the Library Building’.   The exhibition, located inside the Library entrance, is open to all and we warmly invite everyone to visit.

As part of a programme of celebratory events, we held a party for students on Friday 28th September.  50th birthday fairy-cakes, and party-hats, were handed out in return for birthday wishes and messages.  A great time was had by all!   You can catch up with the fun, and find out about forthcoming events, by following #UofGLibrary50 and @uofglibrary on social media.
