At the weekend the University's UNESCO Chair programme in Refugee Integration through Languages and the Arts took to the stage at the Edinburgh International Fesdtival.
At the weekend the University's UNESCO Chair programme in Refugee Integration through Languages and the Arts took to the stage at the Edinburgh International Festival.
As part of the output from the programme's Arts and Humanities Research Council large grant artist in residence, Naa Densua Tordzro, performed her composition on refugee experiences with Karine Polwart at the Festival. She was accompanied by PhD student and artist in residence Gameli Tordzro.
The event was streamed worldwide and was a collaboration with BBC Arts, the BBC World Service, Edinburgh International Festival and the British Council together with the UofG's UNESCO Chair in Refugee Integration, Professor Alison Phipps.
