University of Glasgow Graduations – 2021/2022

The University celebrated the return of a full summer Graduation period for students
The University community is delighted to be celebrating the summer graduations throughout June and July, beginning with the College of Science & Engineering on 22 June and culminating with the College of Social Sciences on 6 July.
Given the disruption caused by the global pandemic over the previous two years, the University gladly welcomed students to attend their graduations fully in person for the first time since 2019. The University celebrates the academic achievements of all graduates who, despite ongoing events, have completed their studies with hard work and dedication.
University Principal, Professor Sir Anton Muscatelli said: “After two long years, it has been a delight to come together in person to celebrate our students’ momentous achievements.
For 571 years, some of the greatest writers, scientists and thinkers the world has ever known have taken the step to become Graduates of this University. But none achieved what they did while meeting the unprecedented challenges faced by this generation of students.
As our Graduates embark on their future careers, they will always remain a part of our Glasgow community. Their stories are woven into the fabric of our great University.
Congratulations to our Graduates. The world stage is set, and I am confident that they will use their talents, knowledge and expertise for the benefit of humanity.”
We love graduation time. A huge congrats to all our new @UofG_Alumni #UofGGrad22 #TeamUofG
