University teaching staff invited to contribute to UNESCO global evaluation of work engagement
UNESCO is organising the 3rd World Higher Education Conference (WHEC2022) in Barcelona on May 18-20, 2022. UNESCO has partnered with leading researchers to conduct a worldwide study that explores the main elements of work influencing work engagement and Burnout Syndrome in university teaching staff during pandemic times.
The University has agreed to participate in this study, which aims to identify what factors of the work experience are key to protect the motivation of teaching staff and prevent excessive fatigue at work.
This research and its results will provide valuable evidence-based information to universities, which will include insights and actionable recommendations on how to protect the energy and wellbeing of staff. Such information will represent a useful input that will guide us towards the right actions to protect and create a supportive environment for all during these extraordinary times.
In order to be part of this study, we are inviting staff in all varieties of teaching positions to respond the online questionnaire. This should take around 20 minutes of your time and all responses will be completely anonymous. The university will not receive information about who answered the survey.
Who can participate in the study?
The entire teaching community of the University is invited to participate.
