At this time of year many people choose to focus on Financial Wellness; whether it is to resolve specific financial issues, save for a large purchase such as a holiday, or make money go further on everyday purchases.
As part of our commitment to financial wellbeing, the University is proud to work in partnership with some external providers which may be of interest to colleagues.
Salary Finance (previously Neyber)
You may remember that we previously worked with a partner called Neyber to support your financial wellbeing. We are now pleased to announce they have been acquired to form the UK’s largest financial wellbeing company, called Salary Finance.
Through Salary Finance, you now have access to affordable loans repaid through your salary, and money insights including budgeting tips and tools. Loan product: Representative Rate 9.9% APR (fixed).
One of the largest credit unions in the UK, Scotwest Credit Union provides ethical, competitive and fair financial services.
Scotwest offers a range of affordable loans, mortgages and savings accounts including Unsecured Loans, Fast £500 Express Loan and Christmas Savings Account – last year alone 4,200 Scotwest Members saved £3.3m in Christmas savings!
Membership is open to all UofG colleagues.
Through their discount platform, Edenred offers a wide range of discounts including reloadable discount cards allowing you the option to obtain discounts on your weekly food shopping from, Asda, Waitrose, M&S, Sainsbury’s and Tesco.
