Autumn Avenue magazine is now out in both print and digital format
Autumn Avenue magazine is now out in both print and digital format. This issue centres round the theme of sustainability ahead of the vital COP26 conference in Glasgow in November.
As well as an update on climate change activity and research taking place at UofG, such as the major Dynamic Coast project, we have a flagship ‘Me’ interview with alumnus Gareth Redmond-King who is COP26 lead at the Energy & Climate Intelligence Unit.
We report back on what some of our alumni are doing about climate change in their own lives, and we profile a ‘Secret City’ very close to home… Glasgow! Our quiz this time, ‘Gallus Glasgow’ also has a familiar theme… And ‘Books of my Life’ talks to author Julie Bertagna, who has written books for young adults that take place in a dystopian future in a world devastated by climate change.
