Report showing more detailed results from the Colleague Engagement pulse survey now available
A report sharing the findings from the Colleague Engagement extended pulse survey is now available for colleagues to read on our website. This report, from the University’s survey partners, People Insight, summarises the results for the University as a whole.
In the report, the survey sponsors Christine Barr, Executive Director of People & Organisational Development, and Uzma Khan, Director of Strategic Planning and Deputy COO, note: “This survey reflects our experiences during a year like no other. Colleagues have worked exceptionally hard and the survey results reflect some of that pressure. In this context, we want to particularly thank our colleagues for taking the time to give us this feedback.”
SMG and leadership teams across the University are currently analysing the results and using them to shape action plans to respond to the views raised. As the areas of focus and action plans are confirmed, they will be shared with colleagues.
This survey was the first of our new plan for two shorter, focussed pulse surveys each year, as part of our commitment to ensure everyone feels valued, heard and has the opportunity to provide feedback. This approach to colleague engagement feedback will allow us to be more responsive to colleagues’ rapidly changing needs and concerns. The next survey is scheduled for late Spring 2022.
Our survey partners, People Insight, are an independent company specialising in employee engagement and feedback. The data collected from the survey remains anonymous and the University has not and will not be given access to the raw data or any individual questionnaires.
Questions about the survey can be directed to haveyoursay@glasgow.ac.uk, or if you would rather remain anonymous, you can complete an online survey (this will request but not store a UofG login).
