Staff access to campuses

Staff can now access campus to collect more equipment from offices
We are increasing access to offices for staff to collect items and equipment necessary to better support working from home.
This includes IT equipment, chairs or personal items that will make working from home easier. Unfortunately, at this time we cannot accommodate pick up of any large items that require additional manual handling, such as desks.
So that we can support access to important equipment as soon as possible, we’re asking that requests are limited to equipment you find it difficult to work without, rather than for more trivial items.
If you need to collect equipment from your office, please submit a request via the UofG Helpdesk.
These requests will initially be reviewed and assessed by a contact in your local area. Once approved, Estates aim to turn around access arrangements within three working days and agree a preferred time with you for collection.
Initially, we are only able to support these visits on the Gilmorehill, Garscube and Tay House campuses. We are working in partnership with the University West Scotland and the Crichton Trust to implement local arrangements for the Dumfries campus that we will communicate in due course.
