Awards recognise content strategy work in the education sector
The University of Glasgow picked up two awards at the inaugural ‘ContentEd Awards’ as part of the ContentEd conference on 27 June in Edinburgh. The Europe-wide awards recognise great content strategy work happening in the education sector.
Emma Gilmartin, Head of Social Media and Student Communications, won the ‘Pioneer’ Award which recognises a leader in the sector and someone who is breaking new ground in the type of content being created or in the strategic approach to content within an institution.
And the University of Glasgow also came runner-up in the ‘Better Storytelling’ category for its video telling the powerful and inspiring story of UofG WorldChanger Jamie Dalgoutte, which also highlights the successful work of the University’s Widening Participation team. The award recognises an innovative approach to the kind of stories being told by an institution and the methods employed to tell them.
