Plans for a 12-hour scheduled power shutdown at the Boyd Orr Building on Sunday, 10 September, from 08.00-20.00, have had to be postponed again due to technical issues.

As soon as a new date is confirmed, we will let you know. The University meanwhile apologises for any inconvenience caused by this further delay.

This power shutdown is essential for the relocation of the High Voltage (HV) transformer on Level 1 as part of the refurbishment works in the building.

We appeal again for your assistance – if you have not already done so, please let us know about your power requirements so that we can take mitigating action in advance.

Anyone who has a critical power requirement should email Robin Andrews: robin.andrews@glasgow.ac.uk
