University Gardens – parking and access restrictions

University Gardens will be closed to vehicular traffic and parking from 17 July until 30 October 2017 to allow the contractor, Graham Construction, to carry out the demolition of the former Maths and Stats building.
University Gardens will be closed to vehicular traffic and parking from 17 July until 30 October 2017 to allow the contractor Graham Construction to carry out the demolition of the former Maths and Stats building and enabling/preparation work for the construction of the Learning and Teaching Hub.
For health and safety reasons, the work will require the closure of the lower part of University Gardens and as University Gardens is a one-way system, no access or parking can be permitted on the upper part of University Gardens .
Pedestrian and wheelchair access will be maintained.
An update on servicing arrangements for 1-13 University Gardens and the Sir Alexander Stone building will be provided to these building occupiers in due course.
