Lifetime Achievement Award for Dame Anna

Professor Dame Anna Dominiczak, Regius Professor of Medicine, Vice-Principal and Head of the College of MVLS, won the Lifetime Achievement Award at the Herald Inspiring City Awards last week.
Professor Dame Anna Dominiczak, Regius Professor of Medicine, Vice-Principal and Head of the College of Medical, Veterinary and Life Sciences, won the Lifetime Achievement Award at the Herald Inspiring City Awards last week. Professor Dominiczak received the award for her work in life sciences and the precision medicine industry.
She said: "I was delighted to receive the Lifetime Achievement award. It is always an honour to be recognised for one’s achievements, but this award also belongs to the team I work with in life sciences and precision medicine at the University of Glasgow."
Earlier this year, Professor Dame Anna Dominiczak was appointed a Dame Commander of the Order of the British Empire in Her Majesty's birthday honours, in recognition of her services to cardiovascular and medical science.
