GRAB Lunch focusing on Africa - 1 Nov

GRAB events are informal working lunches for University staff. This one will cover what UofG is currently doing in Africa, and highlight potential research possibilities and partnerships.
Date: Tuesday 1 November 2016
Time: 12.30 - 13.30pm
Venue: The Sir Alwyn Williams Building (Level 5)
Staff are warmly invited to attend the next GRAB lunch event, which will focus on Africa.
Who can/should attend? Any member of staff with an interest in the region, professional or cultural, and be it for partnership development, scoping potential research possibilities, or general interest in what the University is doing in the region.
The GRAB Lunch (food will be provided) will include brief presentations from Professor John Briggs, International Dean for Africa, and Katy Scott, Senior International Officer, MaRIO.
You will also have the chance to:
- Meet with other staff, including the International Dean for Africa, and Dr Chris Yeomans, Head of International Affairs (MaRIO).
- Discuss your work/interest in the region and any ideas you may have for developing the University's presence there.
- Ask questions and find out about funding opportunities that are available to develop links in Africa.
