Email Overload

UofG staff and students offer their own ideas for cutting our Email Overload.
Earlier this year, the University ran a campaign called Email Overload. It was in response to numerous requests from staff and students who were finding the weight of daily emails too much to handle.
Campus e-News featured a series of posters, and also began a staff and student conversation on Yammer and (ironically) via email with scores of people suggeting tips and tricks for coping with email, and also pointing out how all of us can think more carefully before adding more and more email addresses to a basic message. Campus e-News presented several members of staff and students with Amazon gift vouchers for clever and innovative suggestions anf for poster ideas.
Based on the positive feedback received during the campaign, we are reviving Email Overload for a few more weeks and look forward to getting some more ideas and suggestions. Drop a line to: communications@glasgow.ac.uk. As ever, a £20 gift voucher for the best idea.
Susanne Hendry from the Institute of Cancer Sciences, MVLS, emailed with her own poster idea which we have been pleased to transform into the latest in the series of the Email Overload campaign.
