'The First World War: 100 Years On'

You are invited to attend a special evening lecture by Professor Sir Hew Strachan in the University's Memorial Chapel on Friday, 25 November. The talk will be followed by a short recital by the University choir.

Register here for this event, which is free and open to all.

Night at the Museum

Following Professor Strachan's talk, you are encouraged to attend a unique Night at the Museum St Andrew’s Day celebration, inspired by the University of Glasgow's Erskine 100 research project and the ‘In War and Peace: The Erskine Story' exhibition at The Hunterian. This exciting event will give you the opportunity to see The Hunterian’s world class displays at night, set against a backdrop of film and image projections, live music performances and access to heritage items not normally on show.

This event is also free and open to all, but places are limited and you must book separately here.
