The Glasgow University Veterinary Medical Association (GUVMA) organises a charity fundraising event every year called the Annual Rodeo. This year, the 56th Annual GUVMA Rodeo is held on Saturday 16 April at the Garscube Estate from 11am to 5pm.

The event provides a fun-filled day for families whilst building awareness for animal welfare.

There are more than 30 charity booths on the day itself and apart from that, there will be opportunities for close animal interactions, animal showcases, games, and sale of hand-made crafts.

All the proceeds from the event will be donated to the following beneficiaries:

  • Horse Rescue Scotland
  • Guide Dogs for the Blind Association
  • The Trusty Paws Clinic
  • Students for Animals In Need (SAIN)

All our raffle proceeds will go to the Riding for the Disabled - Glasgow.

Furthermore, this year, we are collaborating with Guide Dogs for the Blind Association for a special event. There will be a Dogs Unite Walk held on the day of the Rodeo, it is an event that is held not just in UK, but in Australia and New Zealand.

More information on the rodeo can be found on the Annual Rodeo Facebook page.
