As part of the work to build MyGlasgow into a 21st century intranet, we are seeking a project manager on secondment.
Over the last three years, University Services staff have been working incrementally to update the MyGlasgow staff and student portals. The aim is to make information for staff and students easier to find. The work has also been designed to keep the University community abreast of news, information and - particularly - the £1 billion project that is now underway to build our World Changing Campus.
The Court Office has been supporting the project and has now given the go-ahead to the internal appointment of a senior post, on secondment for 12 months, as Intranet Project Manager.
The purpose of the role is to coordinate, deliver and manage the University Intranet project working directly with the Communications and Public Affairs, IT and Court Offices and indirectly with colleagues from across the University, including the Web Team, to ensure the development of a business case which will deliver a modern, adaptable and fully accessible Intranet.
The post reference number is: 012596 and the role will be based at Gilmorehill.
