Glasgow Life, the charity that delivers cultural, sporting and learning activities on behalf of Glasgow City Council, has announced that Principal Professor Anton Muscatelli is to join its board. He is one of two independent directors joining the board; the other is Amanda McMillan, the Chief Executive of Glasgow Airport.

Professor Muscatelli, said: “I am absolutely delighted to be joining the board of Glasgow Life at a really important and exciting time for our city.

"Working in partnership with many bodies, including the UofG, Glasgow Life has a mission to provide world-class facilities not just for the people of Glasgow but for visitors and tourists from both home and abroad. We see this in many different areas from culture to sport, including the imaginative redevelopment of the Kelvin Hall, one of the most iconic structures in the city, which will reopen later this year. I am very much looking forward to working collaboratively with colleagues on the board of Glasgow Life.”
