Are you interested to find out more about how partner universities are successful in particular developments? Do you want to visit one of our overseas partners or potential partners accomplished in areas of particular interest to you and from which you think both you and the University could learn? The lunchtime learning session on the International Experience Fund is for you.

Held on 29 June this session will include talks from previous recipients of IEF funding, both Academic and Professional Services staff. They will tell the story of their project, explaining what they have learned and changes they have implemented since their return.

Projects which you will hear about include:

  • The U.S.A Common Application System, how we can use it to promote the University of Glasgow
  • How Glasgow Sport can learn from sports alumni network models in the U.S.A.
  • The Education Abroad Programme at the University of California
  • Facilitating student exchange through developing relationships with the Universities of Capetown and Stellenbosch

The IEF provides joint funding support for projects identified by individuals and also for University Identified Projects in areas which are of interest to the University and which might also be of interest to you.

“Singapore – a centre for innovation in HE “ has been identified as a potential for IEF projects by Professor Trevor Hoey. Why not come along and hear about this as it could provide you with ideas for a joint funded project opportunity.
