When the move is complete, the Hunterian's 1.5 million objects will be together in one place for the first time. The majority of the collection has never even been displayed! The state of the art facilities at Kelvin Hall will allow researchers and students much greater access, and new postgraduate courses will be run there from September.

In other parts of the building, Glasgow Life will be opening amazing sports facilities in August, and the National Library of Scotland’s Moving Image Archive will also have a new home.
