The Confucius Institute has several exciting events happening in October.
Choir Recital
On 5 October we are delighted to welcome the award winning Nankai Choir to give a performance of Chinese music and folk songs.

Chinese Costume Lecture
On 10 October, we are delighted to welcome back crowd favourite Mr David Rosier to give a talk on the informal costume and dress of the Qing Dynasty.
This lecture will also beautiful original textile samples from the Qing Dynasty.

Cixin Liu Talk & Book Signing
On 13 October, we will be welcoming celebrated science fiction writer, Cixin Liu to Glasgow. He will give a talk on 'The growth of Science Fiction writing in China' and take audience questions, as well as signing copies of his new book, 'Deaths End' which is the final instalment in the award winning 'Three Body' trilogy.
Please note: This event will be in Chinese, with English translation.
