A group of senior, student nurses from the University of Louisville in Kentucky have been learning about the NHS, courtesy of their colleagues in the UofG's Nursing and Health Care School.
Over two days last week, we had the pleasure of hosting senior nursing students from the University of Louisville in Kentucky, writes Graham MacIntosh, Admissions Officer/University Teacher, Nursing & Health Care School, School of Medicine,Dentistry and Nursing.
The group were accompanied by Professor Cynthia Logsdon who showed them around various clinical areas at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital and Glasgow Royal Infirmary before meeting BN students and staff from the University of Glasgow's Nursing and Health Care School.
During their two day stay they gained a great deal of insight into the UK's National Health Service, its policies and drivers for change.
