Dr Margaret Sutherland, one of the University of Glasgow's experts in high ability studies, has been elected as a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts.
Margaret told Campus e-News: "Education is crucial to developing an inclusive and just society and I am honoured that the RSA thought of me for fellowship. Strengthening capacity within and through teachers and teacher education will in turn strengthen a country’s capacity to build an inclusive learning environment and society. I look forward to working with the RSA in this area in the future."
Margaret's research and teaching explores how we can recognise and challenge high ability in inclusive educational settings . She works with researchers, policy makers, teachers, pupils and parents.
