Complete University Guide rise for UofG

The University of Glasgow has inched up a place in this year's Complete University Guide table.
The University of Glasgow has gone up one place to 29th in the latest The Complete University Guide league tables.
Glasgow also appears in 20 top ten subject placings and is first in both dentistry and nursing.
The Principal and Vice-Chancellor, Professor Anton Muscatelli, told Campus E News: "While we should retain a healthy caution about league tables, it is good to see so many of our subjects listed in the top 10. It comes at a time of great excitement as we take forward our £1bn expansion of the Gilmorehill campus which will further improve our student experience at the University."
The School of Medicine, Dentistry & Nursing say they are 'delighted' with the #1 in UK ranking for Dentistry and Nursing. Both subjects have achieved 100% for the second consecutive year. Medicine remains in the top 10, with a high overall score of 96.8%.
Earlier Campus e-News reported that Nursing had shared top spot with Bangor University. This appears to have been an error contained in the Complete University Guide news release. In fact Bangor are in third place with 99.2%. We apologise unreservedly!
