Glasgow University Environmental Sustainability Team (GUEST) are now recruiting new coordinators for 2016/17, writes Carmen Paputa Dutu, GUEST Coordinator.

These are part-time paid roles open to all enrolled students at the University of Glasgow which allow you to bring a positive contribution to the University community while studying for your degree.

GUEST is a student-led initiative aimed at improving the environmental practice at the University of Glasgow. We seek to shape and support the agenda of sustainability related decision-making bodies, while also engaging with the University’s staff and students in conversations and activities around topics of sustainability and environmentalism.

The project currently covers seven core projects including communications, student engagement, sustainable transport, sustainable food, waste reduction, energy conservation, and biodiversity.
