University of Glasgow laboratory technician Mohammad Ali Salik is highlighting the benefits of modern apprenticeships during Learning Through Work Week (16-20 Nov).
The awareness week run by Skills Development Scotland aims to promote work-based learning.
Mohammad started working at the University as a modern apprentice and is now laboratory technician at the School of chemistry.
He found his apprenticeship so valuable that he is appearing in a video in which he speaks about his time working as a modern apprentice at the University.
The video will be shown in schools and though Skills Development Scotland’s social media accounts and website.
