Our new Student Welcome Survey has gone live and will be open until 27 November 2015.

The aim of the survey:

The aim of the survey is to capture the early experiences of students who have recently started a programme of study with us, both Undergraduate and Postgraduate Taught.

The University depends on its students and this new survey has created a more dedicated, targeted set of questions, which are particularly relevant to the University of Glasgow.

We want to know:

  • What made you choose the University of Glasgow
  • How easy it was to find out information on the University and the programme of study
  • How easy it was to apply;  and perhaps most importantly,
  • How welcome you felt on arrival, and what your experiences have been like so far

The survey is aimed at Home/EU and rest-of-the-UK students only, who have started a new programme of study this year.

International Students are surveyed separately to take into account the slightly different pre-application and application processes.

How you can enter:

Eligible students will have received an email with a direct link to the survey. The survey should take no longer than 10 minutes to complete.

The quality of the student experience is core to the University strategy and capturing the views of students on their early University experience is extremely important in achieving this.

If you have received the survey by email, please take the time to complete it. It will greatly help in improving the overall student experience, and that of future students, at the University of Glasgow.
