Teaching Excellence Awards
Published: 19 January 2015
Nominations are now open for the Teaching Excellence Awards. The initial stage is at College level with up to two winners from each College nominated to the next stage for a University award.
Teaching Excellence Awards were introduced in 2005-06 to recognise and celebrate members of staff whose teaching is of a particularly high standard. With effect from 2013-14, the awards are now split into two stages, the initial stage at College level with up to two winners from each College being nominated to the next stage for a University award. A Network of Teaching Excellence has also been established in order to share good practice.
The University is delighted to confirm that both Graduate Teaching Assistants and University staff will be eligible to receive awards. Full details of the Teaching Excellence Awards process, and the criteria against which nominations will be reviewed, are provided at:

The closing date for the nominations of the University's 2014-15 Teaching Excellence Awards is Friday 20 March 2015.
