First University Services staff move to Tay House

The first University Services staff have made the move to purpose-equipped offices at Tay House at Charing Cross in the city centre. The changeover was begun at the weekend.

The first staff to make the relocation belong to Estates and Buildings, Human Resources and Finance. More staff will be starting work at Tay House in the weeks ahead, including Planning and Business Intelligence and Research Support Office.
Staff ID Cards
From Monday 2 February 2015 staff ID cards will be issued by the University Library, Hillhead Street. Members of staff requiring a new or replacement identity card should go to the Library Service desk on level 2, Monday to Friday between 9.00am and 7.30pm, Saturday and Sunday between 1.00pm and 4.30pm. You will need to provide Library staff with confirmation of your staff number: if you require assistance with this information please contact the HR Recruitment Team on 0141 330 3898.

Petty Cash Changes
From 6 February there are changes to the way Finance deal with petty cash. It has been prompted by the relocation of Finance to Tay House
From the 6 February, the cash window in the finance office, within the main building, will cease to operate. All frequent users who use the service to replenish petty cash have been notified of the changes of process.
If departments require a top up, they must do so by 5 February as all petty cash held by the Cash Team will be banked on Friday 6. After this point they will be required to contact Gail Cullen on Extension 4936 to request additional petty cash where needed.
