The Scottish Cancer Foundation is inviting nominations for its 2015 prize.

The prize is awarded to a person who has made a significant contribution to reducing the burden of cancer in Scotland.

There is a prize of up to £10,000 for the winner.

Applicants may be nominated or be self nominated. The applicant need not be a health professional but must be living and working in Scotland at the time of the award. The nature of their contribution is not specified and the prize is open to anyone whose work has had a significant impact on cancer in Scotland.

The closing date for nominations is 30 June 2015.
