Tennis fans - were you enthused by the recent Davis Cup match? Then come along to the staff tennis club, writes Genevieve Stapleton.

The university staff tennis club is located at the Garscube campus and welcomes all university staff of all standards. We have three excellent artificial grass courts and a recently refurbished clubhouse.

We meet throughout the year for social tennis (with nice afternoon teas) and tournaments, and also enter teams in summer and winter leagues.

If you think you might be interested to join the club, come along to any of our social tennis sessions (every Wednesday evening or Saturday afternoon).

Funding generously provided by the Ferguson Bequest: Professor Thomas Ferguson (1900-1977), Henry Mechan Chair of Public Health (1944-64), bequeathed his estate to the University, with the instruction that the money should be used to foster the social side of University life.
