The Small Animal Hospital on the Garscube Campus has announced the introduction of a Rabbit Wellness Clinic, for rabbit owning staff, students and friends of University of Glasgow.
The Small Animal Hospital on the Garscube Campus has announced the introduction of a Rabbit Wellness Clinic, for rabbit owning staff, students and friends of University of Glasgow.
The service is based at the new award-winning Small Animal Hospital. The service includes:
- Specialist referral consultation and veterinary advice via email to vets
- Rabbit Clinic (General health check)
- Rabbit Preventive Medicine (Vaccinations, dental check, micro-chipping, husbandry and diet advice, behavioural advice, E. cuniculi test, T. cuniculi test, blood test and urine test)
- Rabbit Neutering Clinic
- Rabbit Weight Clinic (weight check, weight loss plan, exercise and dietary advice)
- Rabbit Physiotherapy
- Exotic Animal Health Check (Small mammals, reptiles and pet birds)
Every rabbit is assessed and treated under the supervision of Livia Benato - clinician with a certificate in Zoological Medicine and in Exotic Animal Practice.
Many insurance companies cover this treatment.
