New legislation relating to workplace pensions requires that employers automatically enrol specific groups of their workers into a pension scheme. At the University of Glasgow we need to implement auto enrolment from 1 April 2013.

If you are already a member of one of the University's pension schemes there will be no change for you as a result of pension auto enrolment.

We will be writing to everyone personally later this month with detailed information on how auto enrolment will affect you as an individual. In addition, auto enrolment briefing sessions are currently taking place and there is still an opportunity to attend one. The remaining sessions are as follows:
