Professor Mackenzie awarded Royal Society of Chemistry accolade

Professor Angus Mackenzie, Director of the Scottish Universities Environmental Research Centre, has been awarded the Royal Society of Chemistry Becquerel Medal for Radiochemistry for 2012.
Professor Angus Mackenzie, Director of the Scottish Universities Environmental Research Centre, has been awarded the Royal Society of Chemistry Becquerel Medal for Radiochemistry for 2012.
The Becquerel Medal is awarded by the Royal Society of Chemistry on a biennial basis "for a lifetime's outstanding contribution to research and teaching in Radiochemistry."
Members of the RSC are invited to nominate candidates for the medal, but candidates can be of any nationality and are not necessarily members of the RSC.
Prof Angus Mackenzie was awarded the 2012 medal, at an RSC meeting in AWE Aldermaston on Wednesday 26th September.
