University Parking Permit Changes

The University Parking Permit charges have been subject to the annual review by the University Estates Committee.
The University Parking Permit charges have been subject to the annual review by the University Estates Committee. There has been no change in parking charges over the past three years and it has now been decided to increase the cost of a permit by 10% across the board.
The new charge will come into effect on 1st October 2012.
The University remains committed to the objectives in its Travel Policy Statement and Strategic Travel Plan (see www.gla.ac.uk/travelplanning ) and encourages sustainable travel and transport.

Those staff with "lifetime permits" (introduced last year) do not now need to re-apply - their permit will continue to be valid.
The charges are as follows:
Gilmorehill Campus
Staff Car - £200
Student Car - £170
Staff Motorcycle - £50
Student Motorcycle - £40
Garscube Campus
Staff Car - £140
Student Car - £120
Staff Motorcycle - £50
Student Motorcycle - £40
Lifetime permit holders will see a pro rata increase in their monthly payroll deduction.
