University women in Scottish top 50

Three University of Glasgow staff have been hailed as amongst Scotland's top 50 women of influence by the Herald newspaper
The Herald newspaper has published a list of Scottish women whom they predict will influence our world in the year to come. The article said: 'From sport to music to politics and fashion, here is our list of the inspirational figures who will shape our nation in 2012.'
Three out of that list are University of Glasgow women, and we are proud to congratulate these colleagues: Muffy Calder, Anna Dominiczak and Karen Vousden.
Apart from several in the list who are also graduates of our University, we have strong connections with other women of influence - Mona Siddiqui, and Emeli Sande our most recent Young Alumnus of the Year.
