The festive season may seem a long way off, but the Senior Management Group after consulting with a range of interested groups, has decided that the University will not be open on Monday 24 December, and that staff will have an additional “other day’s” holiday this year.
The festive season may seem a long way off, but the Senior Management Group after consulting with a range of interested groups, has decided that the University will not be open on Monday 24 December, and that staff will have an additional “other day’s” holiday this year.
For most staff (i.e. those who are not involved in shift based security etc., or some specialist Estates & Buildings services, where local arrangements apply) the holiday period will be from Monday 24th December to Wednesday 2nd January 2013, with normal work resuming in Thursday 3rd January.
Friday 21st December will be a normal working day, and the University will not close early on that day.
