The fifth annual Glasgow Science Festival has announced this year’s programme of events, which kick off in the University this June. 2011 is set to be the biggest festival yet with events dedicated both to schools, adults or audiences of all ages. Events include the reopening of the Hunterian Museum, a ‘Bugs and Brains Science Show’ and a Science musical in the University’s Concert Hall.
Festival director, Debbie McNeill says: ‘We’ll have events with scientists and artists working together, answering questions, offering their own perspectives...There will be cool science, good fun, arts, culture and real nice people.’ Booking for most events is open now.
