The University is delighted to announce this year’s Teaching Excellence Award winners. The Teaching Excellent Awards are given to teachers whose work is nominated by their peers as being outstanding in their field.
This year’s Teaching Excellence Award winners are:
- Professor Martin Sullivan – Small Animal Clinical Sciences
- Mr Adrian Maldonado – Archaeology
- Dr Donald Spaeth – History
- Professor Paddy O’Donnell - Psychology
- Dr Helen Purchase – Computing Science
- Professor Alison Phipps – Creativity, Culture and Faith
Although there are usually only four awards made each year, this year the strength of candidates nominated meant that six were made in total, with the winners being presented with their awards in their relevant graduation ceremonies this week.
We hope to have reaction from the winners in the Campus eNews which comes out on the 11 July.
Congratulations to all our excellent teachers here at the University. If you would like to know more about the Teaching Excellence Awards, please see their website.
