The University is carrying out an upgrade to the telephony service.  Much of the groundwork has been completed, and two buildings have been chosen to test the system and gather user feedback before everyone receives their new handset next year.

The rollout will start in Spring 2012 on a building-by-building basis, and you will receive notification when your new handset will be installed. A quick reference card, provided with your handset, will detail all the usual functions, and offer a weblink for those who wish to explore the extra benefits of the new feature-rich system.

It will help things run smoothly if you check that your details - room number, and extension number - are correct in the HR self-service system.
