The gradebook provides staff and students with a place to monitor and track grades throughout their course.

Hiding the Gradebook items prevents students accessing marks in Moodle before you are ready for them to go live.

Hiding the gradebook items from student view

                                                                                        

1. Click on the Gear icon at the top right of the page. ‌
2. Click the Gradebook set up.
3. Locate the activity item you wish to hide the marks and click on the eye icon in the Actions column.

The eye will now have a line through it and the text colour of the activity name will turn from blue to grey.

The marks will remain hidden from students until you repeat the process and remove the line from the eye icon.
