Request an item the Library doesn't have

If the item you want isn't held in the Library, we can try and obtain it for you.

Subscription members will incur a fee for each item requested via this service.

Physical Books

If you want to borrow a physical book from another library:

use the request a book form (login required)

Renewals will incur a charge and non-collected/consulted items will be charged at £5 per volume.

eBooks

If you require an ebook:

ask the Library to buy a copy

Book Chapter

If you require only one chapter from a book:

use the request a book chapter form to receive a pdf (login required)

Journal Articles

For journal articles not held by the library:

request a journal article (login required)

Theses

If you require a UK (non-Glasgow) or international thesis:

request a Thesis (login required)
